We collect information you provide directly to us when registering and updating your profile, including your:

Email address (used as account identifier)
Display Name and Profile Picture (Avatar)
Auth provider metadata (Google, Facebook, Apple, or Email)

Additionally, we collect digital stamp balances, unlocked rewards, transaction timestamps, and venue logs to track your loyalty progress. We also store session configuration and preferences locally on your device. If you contact us through this website, we process the name, email address and message you send so we can reply.

2. Geolocation Data

With your explicit permission, we collect real-time location data (via GPS) to help you discover partner venues and shops nearby. You can enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings. Location data is processed locally and is not stored permanently on our servers.

3. How We Share Information with Merchants

To facilitate the stamp collection and reward redemption process:

When a merchant scans your Membership Pass QR code, they receive your unique Member ID, Display Name, and Avatar to verify your membership status.
We do NOT share your email address, password, or precise location data with any third-party merchants or vendors.

4. Data Security, Storage & Third Parties

All database files, profile structures, and account credentials are secure and processed utilizing Supabase infrastructure. We also utilize trusted third parties to facilitate our services (e.g. Expo for push notification delivery, and Apple, Google, and Facebook for secure authentication). We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal details from unauthorized access.

5. Your Legal Rights (including GDPR/UK GDPR)

As a user, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
The right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
The right to request the erasure of your personal data ("the right to be forgotten").
The right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data.
The right to data portability.

You can update your display details directly in the app. If you wish to exercise any of your legal rights, or permanently delete your account and all associated loyalty history, please contact us at support@rayapp.com and we will execute your request.

6. Cookies on This Website

This marketing website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not embed third-party trackers. Your theme preference (light or dark) and chosen language are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device.
